Spacetime Centre : Exciting and Ever-growing
In a bustling city like Delhi, Fusion Furnish co-created a working space to offer flexibility in a professional haven. It was a challenge we embraced as our team was eager to go against the grain to create this stunning workspace since our initial discussion with the Spacetime team outlining their vision for the managed office.
A challenge that we took with determination
At Fusion Furnish, we are a team of experienced furniture designers, engineers and workspace wellness enthusiast who work together in synergy to craft furniture for thriving workspaces. Our association with Spacetime (now a brand to reckon with) started in the year mid 2020 when we met to understand their first co-working center based in Greater Kailash, New Delhi. It was right after Covid 19 and their team was very clear about their vision to create a workspace that will set themselves apart in style and elegance and focus on creating a safe space for the people in it. It was both fascinating and thrilling, given that they intended to provide their services to businesses of varying types and an inclusive community environment where productivity amplified.

THE LENSKART SPACETIME CENTRE PROJECT
Spacetime’s founding team along with Lenskart wanted a combination of closed insulated cabins to cater individual or fairly smaller teams for focussed working and a bigger open plan for housing teams of different sizes alongside a designated office seating area. They also wanted to instill nature within the open plans to give more life to the office and practice social distancing between team members, hence we built it to be nature eccentric and included plant life in the workplace area adding more oxygen on the floor. We were tasked to create an agile space that will cater to the team(s) for different purposes.
Obstacles That Came Our Way
Our design team sprang into action and chalked out a plan of cohesive office that was more in line with the Lenskart’s Spacetime centre’s requirement and commenced our work of creating the operationally apt office furniture. Initially we did run into several hurdles such as the needed seating configuration we had designed on paper did not correlate to the actual conditions at the site. We had to work around the floor of an old era building to create a mordern agile office space housing pod seating, collaboration zones, open plan modular workstations, pantry, focussed meeting rooms and executive cabins. For instance, we suggested Aero W workstations as the team wanted a biophilic environment and the Aero W series just did that perfectly well and increased the efficiency of the overall layout, ensuring a better ROI on the real estate. Our USP is our meticulous planning and dedicated team that helped eliminate bottlenecks for smooth project completion.
Let us take you through some noteworthy details to share with you on how we weaved the Lenskart Spacetime Centre project together.
Our goal for the workspace was to provide a solution for a collaborative space management enabling an uninterrupted work environment within teams while allowing appropriate greenery. We ensured the office had a happy vibe by integrating live plants in our furniture system. As a workspace furniture provider, the team at Spacetime had entrusted Fusion Furnish to deliver a vibrant modern office furniture ensuring to cater a people first approach to a hybrid workspace. In terms of colour palette, we used warm rustic teak in the panels to go with grey and black metal powder coating for desks. The lounge area was made of vibrant color fabric and has a microfiber leather finish with polished wooden café and centre tabletops.
Conference rooms were created with the intention of harnessing team(s) Ideas and concepts by enabling them to communicate and collaborate better with flexible seating, writing movable boards and ample modular space for group discussions for different sized teams. We designed and crafted the meeting tables with comfortable seating in large conference rooms and access to natural light. We left ample space for teams to get up and move around to break the monotony at work with height adjustable meeting desks. We made conference rooms with different themes to make meetings more fun.
